Location: Hyderabad, India Key Responsibilities
- Providing Electrical Engineering design, Procurement, Construction & Maintenance support for all electrical projects, Improvements and Site Modifications.
- Imparting specialist engineering technical support and advice in specifying appropriate maintenance, inspection and reliability activities.
- Assisting with long term planning, identifying and resolving issues regarding the electrical infrastructure.
- Review and approve documents by vendors and relevant third parties.
- Fulfillment of statutory/regulatory requirement of Electrical systems.
- Planning and procurement of resources like equipments, tools and fixtures, spares and its optimum utilization
- Preparation of SOPs and ensuring current SOPs are available for all Engineering activities, Training the team on Procedures.
- Fulfillment of End user requests, following Standards and documentation works.
- Training and development of personnel on engineering related activities, Safety and Good engineering Practises.
- Studying the Load Distribution, Conservation and Controlling of Electrical Power.
- Preparations for Site –Lab and Facility Audits & Inspections, Snags updation and completion, follow ups and documentation.
- Responsible for Budgeting and Control on Inventory and Funds for Capital Projects and justification.
- Awareness in Designing Logical Controls, Instrumentation for Projects
- Able to incorporate ‘GREEN’ features into design solutions.
- Familiarity and competence: Electronic mail, MS-Office and Auto-CAD.
- Ensure the execution of projects adhere to Engineering quality requirements, familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA documents and building codes.
- The Jobs assigned by the Electrical resource to be carried out Safety:
- Conducting periodical Safety audits, protocols & checklists.
- Ensure Safe working place during project execution time.
- Ensuring safety precautions & adequate Fire prevention tools.
- Implement Safe work procedures and best safety practices.
- Ensuring proper usage of Tools & Personal protective equipments.
- Provide accident free environment in order to achieve Zero accidents.
- Implementation of Job safety procedures & safe execution of projects.
- Investigation of all near miss & accident cases for taking precautions.
- Implementation of Onsite & Off site emergency preparedness plans.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering wth 5-8 years of Experience
