 Job Description
Position is based at Mumbai. Purpose is to have a Trading Activity set-up at Various Places for Steel trading of Raw materials to Finished products. Position reports to Global CFO at UK. Company is a Large Trading Conglomerate with 29 Offices.   He will be Responsible for the Resource and Trading management and direction to transform the organization along Trading business lines. Financial Modelling and Valuation of Trading opportunity. Oversees fund-raising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, funding trading sources, establishing strategies to approach funding agencies, submitting proposals and administrating fund raising records and documentation.   Role and Responsibilities: • Develop and integrate new finance division in Mumbai, Dubai and Singapore to meet growing trade finance requirement for steel and iron ore Trading. • Managing Day to day relationships with Trade finance Banks in the Region. • Oversee fund raising planning, including identifying resource requirements, establishing strategies to approach trade finance providers and implementation of such structures, both internally and externally. • Co-ordinate with existing Finance Divisions in London, Dubai, Singapore and Globally. - Manage existing relationships & to attract new Banks; manage critical trade accounts & contacts. - Liaise with banks & other financial institutions with the purpose of arranging the finance for company requirements for various products using trade finance related products. - Use trade products to mitigate the trade & payment risks of deals from supplier to end buyer & ensure that the business & its financing partners are correctly secured & repaid. Trade Finance products would be documentary, standby letters of credits & guarantees. - Review purchase & sales contracts ensuring that risks are adequately mitigated. - Negotiate with the financial institutions on fees to enhance the profit & loss statement of each deal. - Structuring of import L/C’s, back to back L/C’s, & guarantees; handling of documents presented under L/C’s, & payment / monitoring thereof - Project implementation - Reviewing, analyzing & negotiating letters of credit & open-account documents. - Issuing commercial & stand-by letters of credit, amendments, transfers & requests to pay. - Approving payments, collections & reimbursements. - Work closely with the teams to promote Liberty\'s trade finance services. - To comply with internal & external regulatory requirements to ensure service quality.   Oversees fund raising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, funding trading sources, establishing strategies to approach funding agencies, submitting proposals and administrating fund-raising records and documentation Planning, developing, and implementing strategies for generating Trading resources and revenues for the company. Identification of trading markets and Trading business opportunities.   Conducting in-house research for Business Development activities for trading. For new trading business lines/units, starting up the business from scratch, developing value propositions. Manage trade alliances etc. Idea generation and review of trade transactions. Facilitating Due Diligence of prospect trading items and companies. Financial Modelling and Valuation of Trading opportunity.   CA WITH BANKING / TRADE FINANCE BACKGROUND IS MUST.
