Job Description
Essential Technical Specification:
Knowledge on Product Design, Product certification, Process certification.
Product development life cycle
Expertise in Electronic Manufacturing process Pre-Manufacturing:
Review and comment on Product Requirement Document from a Quality and Manufacturing perspective.
ReviewEngineering Change Request.
Review Manufacturing Deviations.
Review manufacturing instructions.
Review Approved Vendor List Changes. Process Quality:
Create Process documents required for smooth flow of Quality process.
Address all internal/external ISO or customer audit findings within QA’s domain. Product Quality:
Complete knowledge of RMA process.
Manage products returned from customer though RMA (Return Material Authorization).
Perform/coordinate failure analysis of returned products.
Perform/review reliability tests for new products when required.
Attend to and address product quality issues. Supplier Quality:
New part qualification
Support procurement team in monitoring supplier performance.
Perform supplier qualification.
Review and address supplier quality problems [Including on-site if necessary]
Issue SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Report) to suppliers when necessary and ensure suppliers implement corrective measures. Manufacturing Quality [CM]:
Perform QA vendor qualification (Audit CM’s quality system, monitor quality of first build at the new CM)
Support procurement team
Perform QA buy-off of the first pilot build or pre mass production build
Perform analysis of manufacturing failures and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Perform DFM
Monitor yield rates of every production build.
Monitor production defects during builds.
Issue SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Report) to suppliers when necessary and ensure supplier implement corrective measures.
