Job Description
• Monitoring preparation of financial statements including Trial Balance, P & L A/c, General Ledger, Receivable Management, Balance Sheets on regular basis.
• Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts and Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with time & accuracy norms.
• Analysing existing accounting procedures / systems and restructuring them in order to attain optimum efficiency levels and attain targets set by the Management.
• Monitoring the inflow / outflow of funds; taking adequate measures to ensure optimum utilisation of available funds towards the accomplishment of organisational objectives.
• Preparing CMA & other Reports for obtaining Working Capital Loans and Financial Followup Report for submitting it to the Bank.
• Liaising and negotiating with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to meet working capital and project requirements.
• Ensuring timely filing of returns such as TDS/, Sales Tax, Excise, Service Tax and Income Tax as per the relevant acts & interfacing with Tax Auditors and regulatory authorities for assessments and remittances.
• Assisting the legal counsel in tax assessment related works; coordinating with the Auditors.
• Conducting various Audits; evaluating internal control systems / procedures with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.
• Formulating Annual Budgets, Cash Flow Statement, etc. and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
• Preparing the MIS reports and other financial reports to keep a track of financial performance.
• Developed the MIS for employee performance evaluation
• Compliance of various provisions of Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, rules and regulations framed there under for Foreign subsidiary and other overseas entities
• Filing of Annual Performance Report (APR) and coordinating with various consultants for opinions on various FEMA matters
