• Shall be responsible for coordinating with Owners engineer and Corporate inspection group for all quality related programme.
• Advice QA activities like planning, testing, implementation among various teams of project
• Advise company senior management with regard to challenges, unusual risks, and/or threats to project success including likely defects.
• Approve project specific Quality Program for all the site related activities and define all the criteria which will affect the project quality .
• Identify the Field Quality Assurance plans and requirements and communicate to the contractor at site.
• Implementation and monitoring of all Contract Specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Responsible for establishing, implementation, operation and maintenance of Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9000 if necessary.
• Review and approval of all Project Specific contractor’s Manufacturing Quality Plans, Inspection and Testing Plan, Field Quality Plan Procedures , Work Instructions , WPS , PQR etc
• Monitoring the Contractor’s Quality Systems and quality performance. Carrying out necessary correspondence with EPC consortium on deviations and claims.
• Review and monitor the critical tests like UT, RT, PT, MPI, Hardness, PWHT and ensure its compliance to job specification.
• Participate in contract review and project review meetings.
• Review performance of Field Quality Assurance Engineers and guide them in achieving the quality objective.
• Maintaining the latest revision of all Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications, required for Field Quality Assurance & final project close out documentation.
• Liaison with the Project Management team on matters related to Quality.
• Auditing - internal and external, and follow up of Corrective Actions.
• Overall control resolution of quality problems; preparation and maintenance of project quality records.
• Planning quality assurance Audits of Contractors and their Sub-Contractors throughout the contract.
• Develop and implement the systems, process and SOP for Resolution of Deviations pertaining to NCR, Corrective action request, Site Deviation request etc.
• Coordinate, Review and Monitor the consultant /TPI performance at site.
• Trouble shooting of site problems with technical inputs.
• Provide monthly Quality Assurance Report as a part of MIS and coordinate with Corporate PTS quality head for necessary updating.
• Shall be responsible for relevant QA and QC training for all QA personnel and overseeing all personnel understand and effectively deliver their QA and QC responsibilities as per planned procedures.
