Employee Relations: Manage and negotiate with the union on staff related issues from time to time without impacting the sites Negotiate and implement the long term settlements as discussed and decided Responsible for handling and closing all Domestic Inquiry, discipline management, Absenteeism, Employee Grievance, Indiscipline cases Responsible for maintaining contact with union leaders and key workmen, take feedback of workmen on policies and negotiate with the union for periodic agreements in order to ensure congenial industrial and employee relations and overall adherence to company rules and regulations. Responsible for ensuring that responses to queries and complaints of critical nature from employees are provided in order to ensure timely and effective grievance redressal. Manage court cases when required. 2. Non Executive Level Engagement & Processes Responsible for all HR processes for non executive personnel which includes Training, Job Rotation, Skill Development, Appraisal, Promotions, Engagement, Job Evaluation, Productivity. 3. Statutory & System Compliance: Liaisoning with the Labour Commissioner and all other government authorities in relation to statutory compliances Keep track of changes in laws on a daily basis and also relevant case laws, inform concerned Departmental Head of relevant changes in writing Ensure compliances under the various labour law statutes (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Gratuity Act, Contract Labour Act, ESI Act etc) are adhered to. The jobholder must keep track of implementation, study inspection reports conducted by external agencies, arrange compliance and ensure that periodical returns are sent in time. Responsible for carrying out periodic checks on documentation to ensure that all the plants fulfil all statutory regulations related to labour issues in order to minimize overall risk for the company Ensure systems compliance on ISO, AIBA, Audits etc by closing all action deliverables, and has overall responsibility to close all audit requirements Ensure review and Updation of HR policies from time to time based on current trends in the market. Implementing the same post approval from Excom members 4.Recruitment: Assist the recruitment section in the selection process.
